I just wondered why all the well known supplement companies only offer protein bars and not powder itself. Does that point to the fact that it does not dissolve well in water ? Or are there other (economic) factors behind.

They use GrioPro, which is fine enough to suspend in water. However it's much more expensive than the roasted and ground powders, and also using the cricket protein directly as the supplement is going to be expensive (for now) vs. using in a bar where much of the actual protein in the product is from nuts or beans.
